I remember the day I met you
The day God made you mine,
I remember the day He took you,

But through the tears of heartache,
There is one thing makes me glad,
That you chose me to share with you,
Those wonderful years we had.
In silent thoughts I live again
The years that used to be
I think of all the times we had
And how good you were to me
But if I had a lifetime wish
A dream that would come true
I would pray to God with all my heart
