Nelson (neé Currie) May 24, 2022 (peacefully) at Ayr University Hospital, Scotland, Lydia, 2 Midhill View, Turnberry and formerly of 10 Clare Lane (New Buildings), Cookstown, loving wife of the late Robert Alexander (Bobby), much loved mother of Deborah, Wilma, Neville and Gwen, dear mother-in-law of Sammy and Anne, loving grandmother of Alan, Darren, Philip, Richard, Melissa, Christine, Jennifer, David, Rachel and Neville, great-grandmother of 17 great-grandchildren and a dear sister of Florence, Eleanor, Violet and the late Tommy, Fred, Lily and Robert. A service of thanksgiving was held in Lissan Parish Church on Wednesday, 1 June, followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard. Donations in memory, if desired, to Lissan Parish Church Building Fund c/o Steenson Funeral Services, 11 Loy Street, Cookstown, BT80 8PZ. “Forever with the Lord, until we meet again.”
