A service of thanksgiving was held in Cookstown Independent Methodist Church on Thursday, 28 March, followed by interment in Cookstown Cemetery. Purdy March 8, 2024 (peacefully) at Ashbrook Care Home in his 94th year, Cecil, formerly of 49 Lissan Road, Cookstown, much loved husband of the late Dinah, loving dad of Norman and Laura, dear father-in-law of Pauline and Stephen, caring grandfather of Lynsey and Richard, Conor and Lyndsey, Shane and Chloé and great-grandfather of Elliot, Grace, Rosie and Beth.
