Black (née McCarroll) May 5, 2021, (peacefully) at home, 43 Morgan’s Hill Road, Cookstown, Ruth, beloved wife of the late Thomas Gordon (Tommy John), loving mother of Maureen, Gordon and Denis, mother-in-law of Jim, Jennifer and Wendy, treasured granny of Jonathan, Elaine, Norma, Graham, Lesley-Ann and Rachel and great-granny of Naomi, Leah, Jake, Rhiannon, Callum, Tommy, Gracie-Mae, Harry and Theo. A service of thanksgiving and committal took place in Cookstown Cemetery on Friday, 7 May. Donations in memory, if desired, to Air Ambulance N.I. c/o Steenson Funeral Services, 11 Loy Street, Cookstown, BT80 8PZ. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
