Hammond November 5, 2019 (peacefully) at home, 65 Ballymaguire Road, Stewartstown, George, beloved husband of the late Doreen, dear step father, father-in-law and grandfather to David and Norman, their wives Cathy and Sharon and children Lynsey, Andrew, Alice, Ellen, Sarah and Katie, dearest brother of Eileen Bowden, Samuel, Joan Collins and the late James, Johnnie, Stewart and Bobby and a much loved brother-in-law and uncle. A service of thanksgiving took place in Lecumpher Presbyterian Church on Friday, 8 November, followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard. Donations in memory, if desired, to Lecumpher Presbyterian Church Building Fund c/o Steenson Funeral Services (Charities a/c), 11 Loy Street, Cookstown, BT80 8PZ. Greatly missed by the wider family circle. “Safe in the arms of Jesus.”
