Black (née Harkness) June 27, 2023 (peacefully) at Weavers House Care Home, in her 98th year, Freda Matilda, formerly of Old Hill, Corvanaghan Road, Cookstown, beloved wife of the late John Knox Black, much loved mum of Beatrice, Grace and the late Leslie, mother-in-law of William, Ian and Adele and a loving grandmother and great-grandmother. A service of thanksgiving was held in Orritor Presbyterian Church on Thursday, 29 June, followed by interment in Kildress Parish Churchyard. Donations in memory, if desired, payable to Steenson Funeral Services (Charities a/c), 11 Loy Street, Cookstown, BT80 8PZ for Weavers House Staff. Gone to be with the Lord.
