Thomasina, Lorraine and the family of the late Robert Scott, Newmills wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement. Thanks to all who called at the home, telephoned, sent cards or messages of sympathy, attended the wake or funeral or helped in any way. A special thanks to the Doctors and staff of Ward 3 North and Acute Medical Ward of Craigavon Area Hospital, Dr Orla Fitzsimons and the staff of Stewartstown Health Centre for their professionalism and for the excellent care they provided. Many thanks also to all at Kelly’s Chemist, to all the care workers, district nurses and support staff for their invaluable help and assistance over the years. Deepest gratitude to Rev Michael Currie and Mr Colin McKay for their spiritual guidance and for conducting a very fitting funeral service in the church and at the graveside, also to our Church Elder Mrs Valerie Douglas for her guidance and support. Sincere thanks to Harry Russell for his solo during the church service, to Alan Warnock for playing the bagpipes, to the church organist and to the PW for providing the excellent refreshments in the Church Hall following the burial. We also wish to acknowledge those who gave so generously in lieu of flowers for Newmills Presbyterian Church Building Fund. Finally thanks to Bryan, Carole and the staff of Steenson Funeral Services for the dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. We trust this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere thanks and appreciation to all who helped or assisted in anyway in our time of loss.

The family of the late Mina Crooks which to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us in our recent bereavement. Thanks to all who attended the wake and funeral or helped in any way. Special thanks to Roy Maxwell for his words of comfort for our mum at the hospital and for the bible reading and prayers at the funeral home and to Canon Drew Dawson for the dignified manner in which he carried out the funeral service. Thanks to Tanya at the Royal Hotel who provided the catering after the service. Also a special thanks and appreciation to Bryan Steenson and his staff for the dignified and professional manner in which they carried out our mum’s wishes and funeral arrangements. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as our expression of our deepest gratitude.

The Daughters of the late Isabella McNickle wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them on their sad bereavement. Thanks to everyone who called at the funeral home, sent sympathy cards, attended the funeral and gave donations in lieu of flowers or helped in any way. A special thanks to Drapersfield Nursing Home for the exceptional care, friendship and love given by all staff members in the 4 years Mum lived there. The family of the late Iris Doey would like to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to all our family circle, friends and neighbours for their care and support during our recent sad bereavement. We sincerely thank all who sent cards or phoned or attended the funeral. We are also grateful to all who cared for Iris, the Doctors and Nursing team in Stewartstown Health Centre, Kelly’s Pharmacy, Paramedics, PSNI and to Ann’s Homecare who cared for Iris in her home. Thank you to Rev Dr Iain Jamieson for his pastoral support and the dignified manner in which he carried out the funeral service. To the ladies who provided the catering after the service, also thankyou to Tanya Stewart for providing the music and to the gravediggers. A special thanks and appreciation to Bryan Steenson and his staff for their dignified and professional manner in which they carried out Iris’s wishes and funeral arrangements.
